We may not want to but we always let part of ourselves live in the past. It's something.. undeniable. We just do. The fact that we let ourselves always remember the past it's also what help us to grow up and ejoy the good moments that appear in our life. Right? That's what I think.
"The last time", something too common when remembering something. Probably a bad thing. Don't you notice that most of the time people say something like "The last time this happened, I was sick for almost two weeks", or, "The last time you said that it happened the other way aroun so you better be quiet. Please". No? Well, its just an example.
So, here's my challenge. Use the "the last time" expression to remember good things. Everyday take a little minutes of your day to remember something good, something that makes you smile and feel good with yourself.
When was the last time that you stayed up all night just talking with your friends?
When was the last time that you laughed so hard that you cried?
When was the last time that you sung your heart out just because you were having with your friends?
When was the last time that you stare at someone and it was enough to understand what she/he wanted to say?
When was the last time that you had to dress that piece of clothe that you love so much but that isn't right to use everyday like you would like to?
When was the last time that you smile for something someone said to you?
Get other questions. Get other stuff to smile about.
That's what I try to do in order not to be so pessimist. Try. It helps in its own time..
